Privacy policy

This policy explains how information is handled when you apply for a position through Island Perfumes Job Portal.

Last updated: 1 August 2026

Information we collect

We collect the details you enter in the application form, including your name, contact details, location, national ID card number, education, work experience and message. We also receive the documents you upload: your CV and a copy of your national ID card, together with a police report or educational certificates if you choose to attach them.

How we use your information

We use application information only to assess your suitability for the position, communicate with you about recruitment, verify information where appropriate, and maintain necessary recruitment records. We do not sell applicant information.

Files and security

Uploaded documents are stored outside the public website folder and are not made publicly accessible. Access is limited to the administrator responsible for recruitment. We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect application information, but no internet transmission or storage method is completely risk-free.

Sharing and retention

We share applicant information only when required for the recruitment process, to comply with law, or to protect legal rights. Information is kept only for as long as reasonably needed for recruitment, record-keeping, and legal obligations, then securely deleted when it is no longer required.

Your choices

You may contact us to ask about the personal information held with your application, request a correction, or request deletion where applicable. We may need to confirm your identity before completing a request.
